Good morning. It must be a big weather system. LuAnn said they
were having rain & storms last night, rained during the game in
Cincinnati yesterday. I read today that farmers in northern
Iowa haven't gotten crops started yet & they didn't think it
would be dry enough any time soon to start. :( Seriously we
will take the any extra. Can't get a drop of rain out here to
save ourselves. Thankfully there was quite a bit of snow up
north this winter.

Woohoo! I hope you get some nice spring weather for a while. I
can't believe next week is Memorial Day. Very glad for the
short week.

Good morning! Susan posted a couple of pics and a short video
of my grandkitty Weasel last night on FB. They have him on a
harness in the back yard! So cute! But no share button. :(
Off to run some errands and get my hair cut.

My brother's birthday is Friday. I needed to fax some medical
papers. I went to the UPS store to mail his card and fax the
papers. The birthday card was about 5x7 in size and also had 2
flat little window decals for the Cornhuskers as he loves Husker
football. The medical papers were 3 single pages plus the cover
sheet. This flippy young chick tells me it will cost me $18.00
to "ship" the card and $8.00 to fax the papers. I about had a
stroke! I told her she was out of her cotton picking mind! She
told me that I could always go elsewhere. While I was gathering
my stuff up to leave, an older lady heard this and told the
chick to help this other customer. She apologized and weighed my
card and said that if I wanted to "ship" it UPS, it would be the
$18.00 because where he lives is very small town and not on a
regular route and would require a special delivery trip.
HOWEVER, if I wanted to mail it, it would cost 2 postage stamps.
I took 2 stamps out of my purse and slapped those babies on the
card! I had no choice but to go ahead and fax the medical
papers, tho. I thanked her very nicely and she than said she
would talk with the flippy chick and report her! I'm telling
ya......customer service ain't what it used to be!!

Good morning. I'm afraid "flippy chick" is going to be what we
deal with more & more. I'm not saying "kids these days",
because there are some tremendous, awesome kids out there, but
then you run into that one that makes you want to scream. At
any time in my work experience if I would have had the attitude
of some I run into I'd have been out the door so fast. Bosses
wouldn't have put up with it. Even Tiffany, who is only in her
early 30s, complains about some of the younger hires they have
at the college. She said having set office hours seems to be
very inconvenient for them & if they're asked to do something
that isn't really what they want to do they suddenly don't feel
well and need to go home. Drives her crazy.

Morning Glories! A quick trip to the high end grocery store this
morning is all that's on my plate!
Geez, Lester did everything humanly possible last night....just
NO offense!
