Yes, they did!!! I started watching the game but had to leave
it for a bit. Got back to it in the bottom of the 7th! Gosh,
when Rizzo hit that 3 run homer, I thought I was gonna flip!

It was a great ending & I was impressed with Motte & Strop
holding on for the win. Hope they can get out of here with one
more win.

Question. Does anyone ever say anything to the ump behind home
plate about the bad calls he makes? I love having that graphic
on screen that shows exactly where the pitch was. I realize he
can't get every single pitch correct, but good grief, some of
those calls are ridiculous! Like after the game does the chief
ump, boss ump, whatever he's called....review the films and
bitch the home plate ump out? Do they have to answer to anyone?
Do the managers have to bring to their attention? I know it
won't change the outcome of the game, but damn someone needs to
to do something.

There are MLB supervisors that oversee the umpires and they get
graded for the performance. There are computer systems that
track the pitches in each ballpark and umpires are measured
against that.
I can't imagine that this year's home plate umpires are grading
out very well.

That's a good question. I don't know if somebody files a
complaint with somebody. There have been a few games lately
where the ball & strike calls have been crazy.

Zoner, I could not find the game yesterday. Links1 and 3 were
just blank. Not even the box with video buffering. Link 2 was
soccer. They lost so I guess it's no biggie.

Dunno how or what happens when the links don't work on that
site. Guess it just doesn't work sometimes.
