before.... Why does it have to be the best 3 of5? Why don't
they just have the best of 3?

Only the Division Series is a best of five. The Championship
Series is a best of seven. The Championship Series used to be a
best of five, from 1969 until 1984. Since 1985, it's been best
of seven.
There has never been a best of three. Dunno the reason.

Have it all set to record. s/b home by first pitch, but who
