Not a Cubs question but...why did Mabry replace McGwire as
hitting coach of the Cards?

McGwire wanted to be closer to his kids in SoCal, so he took a
job with the Dodgers as their hitting coach.

I didn't know he was with the Dodger either until the big
Dback/Dodger brawl a few weeks ago. They showed him trying to
toss somebody over the railing. j/k...sort of

It's getting late in the Matt Garza trade game and the Cubs are
still in possession of the hammer (Garza).
We'll see if he's still on the team when his turn in the
rotation is up next.

I'm confused I'm sure there's a perfectly logical reason for
the things the Cubs are doing, but...why are we trading
everybody? Are we getting anything in return, because I was
kind of thinking we aren't. Is the farm system so good that we
are just a year or 2 away of filling the holes with rookies?
Can somebody esplain? Please?
