The 'Zoner is about to place his Cubs hats back into storage.
Watching a team that is losing on purpose is not acceptable.

Anyone really attached to Sean Marshall Matt Garza?
You might want to brace yourself.

Carlos Zambrano has been (will be) traded to Miami for yet
another stiff as the Theocracy continue to make the 2012 Cubs
       suck hard.

The Cubs will lose well over 100 games next season if this
       current roster takes the field.
The 'Zoner does not approve of this.

I disagree... I don't think they are contenders right now by any
stretch of the imagination, but I think the current roster would
probably be about a .500 team.
The only real downgrade (at the moment) is 3B, and Ian Stewart
could potentially be decent. DeJesus will probably a wash with
Fukudome, but will be a lot more consistent. Lahair is probably
an upgrade over Pena offensively, and the pitching staff does in
fact have a lot more depth, assuming that Garza stays... Which I
think is likely now that Z is gone. The bullpen is weaker, but I
think everywhere else they are just a smidgen deeper. They are a
lot better positioned to absorb injuries now if nothing else.
So, I go with improved but still not contenders. They weren't
going to turn it around in 2012 with the free agents available
and also what they had on the roster to trade. I can see the
logic behind the moves so far and I don't despair as much as The
       Zoner.
