Stealth 101

Darwin would walk in to a large classroom that was about half
filled, it was the classroom for the stealth 101 class, a class
that taught how to hide and sneak around preferred by would be
thieves and rogues. What looked to be the teacher was a young
woman with black colored cloths wearing a cowl. The students
started to take their seats as she stood infront of a chalkboard
waiting for everyone to get settled in, then a bucket filled
with water would tip over on the left corner of the room as it
makes a loud metallic sounds when it hits the ground and
everyone's attention is turned towards it including Darwin's.
When they turned their attention back to the front of the class
where the teacher was standing she was no longer there, they
only turned away for a second and the teacher was gone.
"Huh Where the lady go?"
The other student's started to talk amongst themselves wondering
the same thing when Darwin looked around the room and she was no
where to be seen, then he looked up and saw the teacher hanging
from the chandelier.
"There she is!"
The teacher would drop down to the floor landing infront of the
class swift and gracefully with out making so much as a thump or
making the wooden floorboards creak, she takes a bow before
addressing the class.
"Welcome to Stealth 101, i am your instructor for this semester
Luna Shadowfoot. That my aspiring rogues is called a
distraction, something so simple to divert the attention of
those around you can give you the time you need to make a swift
escape and/or hide in the shadows. The essence of stealth is not
only knowing how to hide and avoid detection but assessing your
surroundings carefully and using them to your advantage. On this
course you will learn about the many tools that can help you
escape a sticky situation or disappear quickly as well as work
on your dexterity and speed. A good rogue is agile and quick on
his feet, a good rogue erases his presence completely fooling
the enemy in to thinking they are gone, while they hide in plain
sight. We do not leave traces behind, we do not make a sound, we
are a shadow quiet as the night. Those who pass the course will
come that much closer to becoming a shadow."
Suddenly the teacher disappears from sight, turning literary
invisible as she walks around the students while speaking, her
body gone
"Those who show true conviction and skill in the way of stealth
will be granted a skill at the end of this course, taught by
yours trully, but i suspect most of you will fail or give up
half way trough. I will weed out the clumsy and those with 2
left feet from this class as i predict 80% of you will fail, but
for those with the determination and skill to push forward i
promise you, you will become splendid rogues."
The teacher makes herself visible again as she is back at the
front of the class.
"The introduction to the course will be history, were we will
examine the great rogues and some thieves from the past, their
techniques and approach both in combat and off and how
successful or unsuccessful they were in the end. We will dissect
what they did right and where they went wrong as well, then we
will move on to the basics of stealth with hands on training and
finally an obstacle course where you will put to the test
everything learned in the course. Any questions?"
All of the students would raise their hands, still amazed and in
awe at her previous display of skill, specially Darwin as he had
never seen any one do that before.
"How can i go invisibly like u"
Luna turns to Darwin noticing he was no ordinary child by his
appearance. She smirks as she answers.
"Pass the course and just might tell you."
Her answer lit a fire in Darwin as he wanted to acquire such a
skill and he would use his centuries of running and hiding
around in the forest to his advantage in the class. Luna would
start the class as she talks about a great rogue from 70 years
ago called Ludwig Swifthands as the class gets underway.
