Mile still hadn't crossed the mud. She starts to walk to the
left first, looking for an end to it. Finding none, she walks
back to the right. Again, finding it to be a solid bridge of
mud, she hangs her head, defeated. She steps out into the mud,
immediately sinking up to her calves. A shiver runs up her
spine. She mumbles to herself.
"The administrator is going to kill me."

Albert would see Iec's hand signals turning to look at Miles for
a moment to make sure she had seen he then started to slide his
feet through the mud trying to make little sound as he listened
to the sounds from the cave trying to decern what it might be
mumbling under his breath
"maybe its a..big rabbit duck.. that doesn't sound so bad"
Albert caught up with Iec prepared to use his weapon on whatever
was in the cave

Iec would make his way slowly into the cave, hoping to find
solid ground again once he does, he looks for any sign of life,
though there was obviously something inside, his grimoire stayed
ready, open.

Mile finally pulls herself out of the mud on the other side,
stifling whimpers and whines as she approaches the caves. She
draws her wooden sword, though it was more of a blunt bashing
object than an actual blade.
"Do you see anything?"

"too dark to see anything," Albert without thinking said in a
kinda yell voice at the cave
"Hello?!"
his eyes going wide as he waited and listened for a reply though
not sure he was ready for one

The darkness within the shallow cave hid the presence of the
beings within the cave. The sounds they made however was inhuman
as they heard the 'hello' it sent them into a frenzy. As their
snarls turned into "Riktictic!". The sound of a bow in the
distance pulling back before sending a single arrow soaring
though the cave towards the entrance at the adventures trying to
enter their domain. Meanwhile the voices grew closer.

Iec's eyes open up wide.
"Watch out!"
Iec slides down to the side, barely avoiding the arrow as it
flies past him, he glares back in the direction that it came
form.
"An arrow.... These aren't animals...."
His grimoire would float in front of him as he stands ready.

The arrow deflects off of Mile's sword,sinking harmlessly into
the ground behind her.
"Wow! That was lucky!"
She stumbles a step back, paying more attention to the cave than
before.
"Whatever they are, can we draw them out here?"

Albert would raise his shield to cover his body his eyes
scanning the darkness of the cave for movement and his ears
waiting for another sound of a bow as Albert started to slowly
move back toward the light of the entrance
"better than fighting in the dark what the hell"

Two fast moving shadows emerge out of the darkness within the
cave into the shallow lighting of the entrance of the cave. The
creature is that of a small reptilian like creature resembling a
small wingless dragon. The creature walks on two legs and is
clearly a humanoid type creature. Within it's right hand sites a
single dagger. This is mimicked to both creatures that have
appeared. Both Kobolds are dashing at the young mage laying on
the ground after dodging the arrow.
