Alberts' face turned red realizing he was posing in front of the
door looking like a fool for no reason he quickly turned to face
the farmer hoping no one noticed or would be kind enough to not
       say anything about it
"any tracks leading from the pen? anyone else around here also
having these issues with the chickens"

"Ahh, a group of young adventurers. About time they put someone
on the case, I know I didn't anti up very much for it but wages
aren't exactly booming for us country folk. Now I aint sure what
happened but if I had to guess is there be some varmints nearby.
I'm no tracker but if you want to have a look at the Chicken
Coop you are more than welcome. Damn chickens all be gone
anyway. They didn't go after the lambs so I'm guessing it ain't
       no dire wolves."
The man had turned towards the group to speak with them. As he
spoke he had rested his body on the pitchfork with his right
       hand.

"No worries about the wage sir. Were in it for the experience. "
Iec glanced over towards the barn then stared over towards the
       fence.
"Most likely it's just as you theorized but well check for you
       just to make sure."
Iec starts to walk towards the pen to see the scene

"You can count on us, sir! We'll have this all settled in no
       time at all!"
Flashing a wide grin at the farmer, Mile swivels around to
follow Iec towards the pen. Once the man was out of earshot, she
       whispers to Albert and Iec.
"Do either of you guys know how to track.. erm... varmints?"

Albert followed the two to the pen to start their investigation
looking to miles then to Iec
       "uhh...no"
he looked down for a moment then his face would light up with
       excitement
"But it can't be that hard right we look for prints and trampled
grass! sure we've never done it before but this is a good
       learning experience!"

The three enter the coop finding minor damages to the
surroundings. Albert and Mile would notice a series of claw
marks to the fence on the north east side with a few paw marks
at it's base. Iec lacks the ability to persevere the damages as
his eyes focus more on the chicken's coops themselves without
       finding a single print.
Mile and Albert have gained a new ability "Tracking" star 1!

Iec keeps his attention on the chicken coop, not seeing much of
       a struggle within the area.
"Hmm... It must've been a crafty beast... I can't really see any
signs of a struggle over here."
He looks over his shoulder at the others.
       "You find anything guys?"

"There's some paw marks over here and some claw marks on the
fence here. Maybe we should follow it this way?"
She looked a bit unsure, looking to Albert for confirmation.

Albert ran his fingers over the claw marks on the fence nodding
his head a wide smile on his face all thoughts going through his
head were just excitement from being on a mission
"yeah looks like some kind of creature took out the fence with
       his paws"

The group noticed as they followed the paws prints that it would
fade off into the grass . In the distance there is a wooded area
with a few mild bend in the hills creating areas that could
easily hide small shelters for animals.
