So I just played this game and it's rather funny how there can
be a community around it. A bit like if tic-tac-toe had a
community.
Let's be honest, this game requires no skill or ability
whatsoever.
Celestial_One is widely known in the sheep tag community as the
least talented person to have ever walked the face of the earth.
He's ranked number 5 in this game. If he is ranked number 5,
anyone - ANYONE - can be world-leading at this game.
Secondly, Celestial_One and every Clan Sand member I've ever
seen has performed HORRIBLY at freeze tag; they've gotten their
asses kicked by me when I've worn a blindfold.
There is no dodging of projectiles in this game which means that
the difference between a good and a bad player is decided by
whomever clicks first. We can chit-chat about angles, but
ultimately what I said applies. This means that the difference
is incredibly small: there is no ability or skill involved!
Further, the presence of items and 'buffs' further reiterates
the lack of skill in the game. Whomever has more items tends to
win. You know how people don't play freeze tag with runes?
Exactly. In freeze tag you have to beat each individual ONLY
with your skill, you can't hide behind items.
The game doesn't even have any team-work in comparison to freeze
tag - which is as simple as a game can be - is 50 times more
complex than snipers.
The only reason some of you are better than me at Snipers right
now is because you know what items to buy and how certain
combinations of them work better, and you may be more familiar
with the terrain. In other words, this game requires no skill
and that is a shame.
You should all switch to freeze tag instead, a game that is far
more dynamic and fast-paced!

a duckface in FT. Maybe I have to pwn your ass in snipers 50:0
that you learn the game requiers skill

And calling FT a game where you need "Skill" . Stop kidding me
pls. That little bit A clicking and dodging. Every noob learns
it in 2 games.

Most people learn it in 5 seconds. That's what's great about the
game: it doesn't require knowledge.
It only requires pure skill and ability.

I will add that I just beat two people from here in 2v2 freeze
tag 7-0, without getting frozen once.
They were probably not your best guys, but feel free to come
along and prove me wrong. I'm a giant geek in Clan Behh @ Europe
24/7.

You can't expect from people in a SNIPERS clan to be good in
Freeze tag ffs. I just mention that cause i've played FT for a
while since i was in a FT / Snipers clan once

After reading this thread you have indeed convinced me I'm
horribly untalented in all the games I play. You make so much
sense that I, as well as everyone else in the community, are
going to quit snipers forever and solely play games which you
deem worthy. Namely, freeze tag. We await your next orders and
hope that we can all receive lessons from your awesome
greatness.

I don't really consider any custom game to take a whole range of
skill. Each game can be mastered over time. Snipers is a lot
more difficult then you think... definitely more than freeze
tag.
