       The Snipers Player Database
By: Tom Date: May 23, 2013, 12:12 pm
       ---------------------------------------------------------
Snipers Player Database (SPD) – Date of creation: May 23, 2013
I have compiled this database so that current and future snipers
as well as other interested parties may view this list in order
to understand our community and the players in it. This database
does not include hardly any old and retired snipers. The older
snipers and I could sit around for hours listing thousands of
forgotten players and personalities. I hope that this database
will be used to keep track of all who play the game of Snipers
for years to come, so that no more who play this game will be
forgotten. I have also taken the liberty to create skill ratings
for everyone. The Snipers Skill Level (SSL) is completely my own
opinion and is therefore biased. I will include a brief
personality bio for anyone who wishes me to include one for
them. You can create it yourself and send it to me in a message,
and it will be displayed under your name.
Thanks to everyone who contributed to the game of Snipers, and
thanks to those who still play today.
Here is how the ratings work.
Snipers Skill Level (SSL): This is an all-inclusive score of how
skilled a player is at the game of Snipers. The rating is out of
100 total points and each attribute category contains 10 maximum
possible points. I have based one's skill level on the following
       ten attributes:
       1. Locking skill: How skilled someone is at winning locks. I am
also including lock SPEED under this category. More important
for some types of players than others. Either way, locking is a
skill that can push you over the top. If you want to be GREAT,
you have to know a good deal about locking.
"Every artist was first an amateur." -Ralph Waldo Emerson
       2. Anticipation: Knowing your opponents movements before they
do. In my opinion, this is one of THE most important skills to
develop if you want to be a top sniper.
"Wisdom consists of the anticipation of consequences." -Norman
       Cousins
       3. Awareness: How aware you are of your enemy's and your allies'
movements around the map. This is also an extremely important
       skill.
       "Awareness is empowering." -Rita Wilson
       4. Teamwork: Another luxury skill like locking, teamwork skill
isn't required to be a good sniper. But if you want to be the
best, you have to be able to work with anyone.
"Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence wins
       championships." -Michael Jordan
       5. Solo skill: How adept you are at dispatching enemies and
surviving on your own, plain and simple.
Sometimes you have to stand alone just to make sure you still
       can." -Anonymous
       6. Knowledge: Knowledge of the game itself in all aspects is
required to survive in Snipers. Knowing when to go forward or
retreat, knowing what items to purchase at certain times, etc
are all fall under knowledge of the game.
"Any fool can know. The point is to understand." -Albert
       Einstein
       7. FS ability: The ability to be an accurate using Far Sight. FS
is another luxury skill, but not knowing how to FS properly
       makes you a one-dimensional player.
"He who is prudent and lies in wait for an enemy who is not,
       will be victorious." -Sun Tzu
       8. WW ability: The ability to use windwalk effectively and
efficiently to kill enemies and stay alive. In Elite Snipers,
being able to use windwalk as a basic skill is pretty much
required to be a solid player. Even Tweed knew how to WW and
click. Knowing how to use WW in more advanced situations comes
       with experience.
"All warfare is based on deception." -Sun Tzu
       9. Consistency: This may not be ultra-important, but being able
to play well on a consistent basis is indeed a skill.
"It's not what we do once in a while that shapes our lives. It's
what we do consistently." -Anthony Robbins
       10. Efficiency: The ability to get the highest number of kills
       with the fewest deaths possible.
"Efficiency is doing better what is already being done." -Peter
       F. Drucker
As well as a separate category for potential I left on the side.
This is not included in the SSL.
Potential: How much a player could possibly improve over time,
       if given experience and teaching.
"Free the child's potential, and you will transform him into the
       world." -Maria Montessori
It will take me some time to complete the list, but I will do my
best to finish it within the next week or so. I will post it
below soon! If you want a personal bio, start messaging them to
       me now.

Here is the excel spreadsheet of all players. There are some
that are unranked due to various reasons, but most are ranked.
If you don't have Microsoft Excel, just download Open Office,
which is completely free. The top 20 snipers all have their own
bios and are in a separate post. The database will be constantly
update to reflect changes in skill level, as well as monitoring
player activity and the arrival of new players.

Thanks man! The yellow highlight means the player has been
inactive and a red highlight means the player is currently
       banned.
