I switched over to starcraft II... I have been occasionally
getting on warcraft to see if any games are up.. but I haven't
seen any nor can I enter the restricted clan channels. My
friends list has no active players on it. Add Chlamydia[StDS] if
anyone gets on and maybe I can actually find a game or a
channel. I have also been trying to contact Baal_Dota... I
believe he is pretty big into the dota scene maybe even playing
semi-pro. He posts on several websites but they are always
french or german sites and its difficult to message him. Been
looking for several older players...(jubei, akino,
marcus_aurelius, ect) if we were friends shoot me a private
message with your email or facebook so there will at least be
some glimmer of hope that the years spent on this game and
friendships made weren't for nothing. So damn disconnected from
       snipers now.

I got home today and my brother showed me this writeup he found
while randomly thinking about Snipers. I haven't played WC in
months and snipers in years. For those of you that know me,
judging by this I was a third generation (I think) sniper, and
played under the names KFlan, Filthy, Raped, j2ape, Sickskills,
etc... my brother was the hated and feared immature mcflanny,
goldensniper, and countless other akas/namespoofs. We have both
led clans to countless victories, anddddd a couple losses haha.
I can't remember which clans I regularly was a part of but I was
chieftain of BOOM for awhile. I remember playing on a couple of
different maps but mostly Gems version. After finding this I am
fired up! I would love to play some friendly sniper games which
I'm sure would have much less banter after maturing for 10 years
haha. I'm going to search this forum for the most likely places
to find the clans/games/realm but if anyone was my friend feel
free to message me or email at flanaganwhs@yahoo.com. Hope to
see some of you in games soon!
PS I did see some stuff about a reunion and you can count me in,
out locking people from the hills!

So I was walking my dog the other day.
And I saw a Warcraft 3 Battlechest set for sale and I almost
       bought it to play again.

       Well hello there! :)
I cannot even put to words how happy I am I decided to Google
"WC3 Snipers" before going off to class and stumble upon this.
I'm so happy to see you guys again! Even though I haven't played
       in years.
The reason I even came up with the idea to Google that was
because Source 2 (DotA 2) will come with a custom map maker and
I'm thinking of recreating RoC Snipers in Source 2, 100%
original (identical map, skillsets, etc). An idea which I've had
       for years.
I remember the days when there were multiple SNIPERZZZZZZZZZ
games on Europe going on, someone gives you a whisper "Join
quick, X is here too", the games were full within seconds and
being too late you had to join another game, which was usually
       filled with new players.
I remember Elite Snipers slowly dying off once people started
getting banned for using Maphacks in custom games. Not to
mention the EU snipers community has pretty much always been 90%
backstabbing, elitist and immature. Things like being alone with
the rest of your team being new players and having a few
oldschoolers in the opposite team, getting annihilated and then
also recieving a lot of flame and elitist behavior from the
opposite team. This is what made me play less and ultimately
       unistall WC3.
But it was the same on the US servers, where you would make an
unknown account and elitist players start flaming you for
killing them. But like always, there are some great people and
players such as ZoNo, Pengu, etc. I'm sure there are a lot more,
but I can't remember much since it's been such a long time.
And hello SniPerr! You were a great play and a great dude (and
still are! :) ). Same for Hidden. I remember logging on a few
years ago for a few games and some of you gave me a warm
welcome. I think it was SniPerr, maybe with an alternate
       account. Might of been Hidden.
