Bulimia is relapsing again
By: Katmaz69 Date: July 26, 2017, 7:22 pm

So I recently finally stopped my behaviors for 6 months... then
I took a week off work. This is the first in 12 years. Come to
find out... I should not be left alone with my brain. My husband
took me camping for 2 days and we had a lovely time. But the
voices slowly started creeping back. I've relapsing hard for the
past week... I don't know what to do about it. Because for me to
look at my husband and tell him my ed and self harm are back...
I'm afraid of being a disappointment to him.

Congrats on making it so long that's amazing!
I do think relapse is common during a period of recovery.
While I haven't made it this far, maybe someone else has who can
be more helpful.
You did it once you can def get that far again!
I don't know your relationship with your husband but I don't
think he will look at you as a disappointment. You need to be so
proud for how long you made it. That's so impressive. I think he
will be upset in the sense that he feels helpless to help you. I
think it might be good to let him know just so someone else can
help keep an eye on you and your behaviors!
Best of luck.

Thank you! My relationship wih my husband is amazing
And my even considering recovery is thanks to him. I honestly
don't think I would be here if it weren't for him.
We just celebrated 19 years married. It's just so hard to tell
him. I love him so much. And I want to be the best wife I can
be. But never feel good enough.
