       It's a sign-------

       BUT   What of?
       First, let's take off those rose tinted glasses!
       If you look at a person or situation through rose-colored
       glasses or rose-tinted glasses, you see only their good points
       and therefore your view of them is unrealistic.
       People who place this sign outside their home are sending you
       several messages.. But they are not exactly what the sign says.
       The most important message is -
       I could care less if a dangerous earthen embankment dam fails
       and many of my neighbors drown, or lose their homes to the
       flood.
       And in no particular order -
       I can't listen to the findings of FEMA, Army Corps of Engineers,
       Association of State Dam Safety Officers, NYDEC who say REMOVE
       ALL TREES FROM DAMS.
       I only follow the ramblings of a bee keeper and a biology
       teacher.
       I hate the Canal Corporation management. They are dark and evil
       I hate the NYPA They are dark and evil
       I prefer squirrels and muskrats to people.
       Weeds and illegal, regulated (by NYDEC) vegetation is good on a
       dam.
       I have no understanding of Dam Engineering, Canal Maintenance,
       Hydrology, Forestry Management, and I am not going to learn.
       Oh! Yea!   They are out there folks.
       Send photos of these signs and their owners houses. We should
       all know who they are.
