         Fallen tree
   DIR By: Doug K

       ---------------------------------------------------------
I heard from a group on Facebook that there are no "tree
problems", or issues with trees along the canal in Perinton or
Fairport. They have stated this is all "fear mongering" on the
part of the NY Canal System ownership.
ALL TREES are good according, to this group, even those
obstructing canal travel I guess, maybe it should stay in place
so turtles can sun themselves on it?
Would be nice to get a picture of this "phantom obstruction" in
the Canalway channel, that has resulted in yet another NYSCC
       Alert Notification.
All these Canal Alerts are proving time after time, that the NYS
Canal System is slowly falling apart, and becoming more of a
danger to public safety as it reaches its 200th birthday.
Over two DOZEN alerts so far in June.
