       When will NYPAs EEIP effort repair the issues with Fairports
       Oxbow Lake Dam?

       The ECNA has it from a credible source that NYPA has been asked
       about their largest unsafe embankment in Fairport & Perinton,
       and when repairs are expected to be started. This sent in to
       us... it was put through as a question to the NYS Canal
       Embankment Integrity Contact Page
       One question, it's been asked before but never seems to get
       answered. When will the NYSCC & NYPA start to perform their EEIP
       Earthen Dam Remediation on the 5000' long Oxbow Lake Dam in
       Fairport NY? This earthen embankment is over 60' tall and is
       covered with vegetation so thick thats it's been hiding 6' deep
       fissures along the outboard slope of the dam, as well as
       uprooted trees that have compromised the Phreatic Lins of the
       entire embankment. The Village of Fairport & Town of Perinton
       residents deserve an answer, should residents below be REQUIRED
       to purchase NIFP Flood Insurance?
