I think this information should be forwarded to the NYS Canal
Corporation, Attention: Dave Mellen. I would think that
"exploding trees" would REALLY be an issue if they were on an
earthen dam, don't you? It's bad enough they fall into the
channel, and cause all sorts of issues with leaks, seeps and
sinkholes, now we have to worry about fallen trees, getting up,
and exploding... sounds a bit like Chicken Little?
Oh wait, consider the source... a shamed, ex-POTUS, who's on
trial for all sorts of issues committed while trying to
undermine democracy in the United States.
Yes Mr. Donald John Trump who is one of the FEW ex-presidents to
land near the bottom of the 5 Worst Presidents in History list,
and then move even closer to the bottom with his "after office
antics".
I would say that this source is about as honest & trustworthy as
Ms. Agte, who wrote about the need for more trees in NYS in the
first place. Maybe Ms. Agte should reach out to "The Don" and
see if he would like to purchase a few Shade is Cool tee-shirts,
better make it orange so it won't clash with his upcoming new
attire... an orange jumpsuit.

Neither of these two can see beyond their own ambitions...
Neither can be trusted to tell the truth about public safety...
Of course in a strange way I was hoping the "exploding tree
myth" was real, I guess that would solve the problem that NYPA
and the NYS Canal folks are having with "treehuggers gone wild".
Mike, I'm thinking we are safe... from exploding trees, but just
in case you might want to move your firewood away from the
house... lol.
Exploding Trees... what a maroon! It's about as dumb as "Shade
is Cool".
