       T R E E S = spells trouble for Perinton - again

       When you read this article regarding dead ash trees, just
       consider this is just the tip of the iceberg.
       How many dead ash trees are there on canal embankment dams? I
       don't suppose anyone is counting them, however, there must be
       quite a few. Couple this with the MANY 'end of life' Cottonwoods
       that are notorious for dropping their brittle and weak branches,
       and the problem is seriously compounded.
       These old and dead trees are a problem, and it looks like the
       maintenance of them has been neglected, not only by the 'old
       Canal Corporation', but also the Town of Perinton.
       Dead and dying trees can get toppled by the wind, causing a
       domino effect of otherwise healthy trees falling.
       Maybe this broadcast will stir some action and change our
       politician's minds about having a more robust approach to tree
       management.
       We can't have trees around that are likely to cause the loss of
       even ONE life, because of weak governments.
