       FAIRPORT SCHOOL TAX HIKE!

       When you move all the 'fluff' out of the way in the latest
       edition of The Fairport Commentator, you'll likely find, as we
       did, a tax hike of $5.5 million dollars.

       As if we don't have enough to deal with these days! How are
       those on fixed incomes, the elderly on tight pensions etc. going
       to cope.
       This School Board doesn't seem to realise that we are tired of
       these continuing hikes.
       Perhaps if the School Board had not wasted at least $75,000 on a
       bridge to nowhere down the Oxbow, on property that didn't belong
       to them, then they wouldn't need to take so much of our hard
       earned money.
       Our spending is way out of control.
