The Running of the Home
(Each family has their own board in which to post information
pertaining to how the family runs. We ask that you complete the
How Things Work section ahead of time so that your family is
aware of your rules and expectations and responsibilities within
the home. If you are coming without children, this does not need
to be completed. Once a child is in your care, this should be
added to your family board.)
Clothing and Appearance: (any rules about what may and may not
be worn goes here)
Schooling: (please state whether your children attend the public
school or the private school. Information about the private
school is found within that child board. Also, please state
things like what happens if the child were to get into trouble
at school and expectations as far as grades. You can ask to see
an example of how a parent completed this if needed.)
Technology: (please state the rules regarding technology use in
your home. E.g. at what age a child receives a cell phone, when
are they allowed to use their technology, etc)
Spankings: (please explain how spankings work in your family,
such as if they are always on the bare bottom, if something else
always precedes or happens after a spanking, if they always
happen in private etc. Please keep in mind the board rule about
not leaving marks or blood for any reason.)
