New prompts can be added for each fortnightly meeting.
Forum members have the option of looking in to check for any
updates or using the 'Notify me of replies' option at the bottom
to receive an email when someone posts.
There are a few benefits to this system. The first is that it
does not require changing the settings on your
computer/handset/device to make it compatible with Google; the
second is that posts can be edited after posting.

Hi Alison
Registration was fine. Straightforward. Captcha was a bit of a
pest but it could just be something to do with my eyesight! I
went through about four times then started again and it went
through first time. It looks similar to other forums I have
used.
I will try adding a file and then copying and pasting something
just to see what it looks like. The editing facility looks
good. ;)
I like the fact that you get a preview as well.

Hi Diana,
I received email alerts to your posts, and it all seems to be
working well. I spent more time was spent trying to find a
simple message board than setting this up. I like fiddling
around with computer software, so it's no problem.
I will find out what I can about the Captcha, and see if there
is an alternative to that.

I wonder firstly if there is an alternative to the captcha for
members like Martin.
Secondly - whether it's possible to set it up when you first log
in but not for every post.
Having said that it's not asking me to complete one for this
reply.

I will hunt around for another alternative if the Captcha
continues to be an issue. I am no longer asked to complete one.
