Yuck! Much prefer Avril as a young artist. That first album.
Before the makeoverand commercial sh1t. When she looked like the
girls I lived around at university who were into Indie music and
were out at gigs continually. Beautiful but they never dressed
up.

I'm currently re-reading his autobiography - "Anyone Who Had a
Heart". I recently bought this photo in an auction (together
with a friend) which we intend to resell at a top US auction
house when the Corona crisis is over.

Looks like the photo would be about 1979-1981?
Something like that as Micheal Jackson still had his real nose.
Bacharcah's music just has a breezy, easy quality, at least
those I know are his anyway.
Sort of hard to describe.

Absolutely. Shame he fell out with Hal David though, and he
could have had a better choice of first singer than Dionne
Warwick whom, by all accounts, was a mean, money-grabbing, surly
biatch.

is gospel-trained vocalist Cissy Houston, Whitney's mother. In
her 2011 autobiography, My Life, as I See It, Warwick notes that
opera diva Leontyne Price is a maternal cousin."
She was originally called Warrick but the record label misspelt
her name & Warwick it became. Cissy Houston herself was a great
singer.
