Unbelievable. I follow oil prices closely. Yesterday it surged
unexpectedly. It had to be a Trump tweet...... Sure enough he
tweeted that Russia and Saudi were close to a deal.... Bullshit
I thought.
I wake up this morning and both Russia and Saudi have denied any
progress. Trump was just manipulating markets yet again.
A man who holds the highest office in the world. 1000s of his
people are dying uneccesarily on his watch and he or more likely
his associates main focus is how to make even more obscene
amounts of money whilst millions of Americans lose their jobs.
Most bent President in the history of the USA. Even Nixon would
blush at what Trump gets away with.

I like him.
I've got another $100,000 I'm sticking in mutual funds simply
because he's going to raise stock values.
Just have to figure out when.
Oh yeah, did you see this?
California now has a GDP greater than the UK.
And California has about 1/2 the population of the UK.
And this was a year ago, so CA is kicking your butts even more
now!

So what is new Joe? California has been that successful for a
long time. £ is weak right now so even Canada might climb above
the UK. We have Brexit during the worst disease outbreak in a
century.
California is a blue state so it is weird you are championing
it.... Liberal Americans make for more astute investors and
businessmen than red state Americans. Trump's core voters are
out in the rust belt and economic duldrums of the US. People who
have been left behind. Californians would have opted for 4 more
years of Obama than pocket lining Trump and his crew of get rich
quick swindlers.
Oh and Joe, I am yet again smarter than you. I have been day
trading for the last two weeks of lockdown. Averaging £2000 a
day despite taking a big hit today. .... The NHS has asked if I
can setup home offices for GPs but I really am reluctant to give
up when the markets are this volatile.
I am the alpha male here. 11 countries under my belt so far this
year. Hell I even did a week in Wisconsin training up USAnians
at a manufacturing plant for Innio (formerly GE owned). I loved
US immigration at O'Hare... "I am here to work. I work for an
Austrian company that employs hundreds of Americans" Kiss my
arse US immigration....

Well, at a salary of $2,000 a day you definitely make more money
than me.
I think the most I've ever made was one time about 6 years ago I
had a truck on a forest fire back in Alaska and I made $740 a
day for the truck and me as a driver, but that was only for
about 2 weeks.
But last weekend I was fishing the Arabian Gulf.
And then visited some 4th century ruins in the desert this
weekend.
So while you make more money, I still do a lot of bitchin' shit.

Joe I barely rollout of bed. Two screens on my desk watching
share prices and trading on highs and lows. Individual shares
move up and down repeatedly by 10% and more in 24 hours
The government has said they will pay me to be off work but I
can still claim that and do the work for the NHS. Double the
money on top of my gains of the last 2 weeks. Corona has been
great for me but unlike the President I cannot manipulate
markets to profit even more.

Then I am still the king of doing cool shit.
What I was into 2 winters ago back in Alaska: Caribou hunting
using my truck and snowmachine.
On the cheap if you will, but still I think the most thrilling
on this planet.

I did Finland for a week in winter February last year. Driving
the Kings Road at - 20 was a good life experience. Hamina by the
Russian border for work. What was clear though at the end was
most Finns were envious that I was going back to mild
temperatures, more daylight and all the delights of London.
Frozen north is fun for short bursts but could not live there in
isolation. I am a city guy. I need pretty women and being able
to walk outdoors with just a T shirt and jeans.
