I am doing a Lincoln

Visiting some non descript place just to get me closer to a
century.
Luxembourg tomorrow. Not even bothering with hotel.... A day
spent walking then onto Cologne and Amsterdam.
So any pointers? Anything that would be criminal to miss?
Swatting up on Luxembourgish tonight as I would hate people to
think I was low class Midlands chavs like Leela and Ben.

Can't say I've ever been - I did work with a Luxembourgeois in
Switzerland, and what a boring, pedantic fart he was.

Do they even speak French? I am in Brussels this morning making
the most of French. Got to travel on through deepest Wallonia
but I think French stops at the border. Luxembourg is just some
rogue Kingdom that avoided German unification in 1871?

I am personal friends with the ex-U.S. ambassador (Technically
at the time the Charge de Affaires) to Luxemburg.

Well it sucks.... Suckiest place ever. Totally dead. Minimal
bars and entertainment. Just picturesque river winding a gorge
around the city.
Absolute worst place I have been to. I am in Koblenz now over
the border and it is a far nicer and more livable city
Never go to Luxembourg, however badly you want that badge.....
Every one of its neighbours are world class tourist
destinations..... Highlight of my day was a 7am stroll down Rue
Aschenschott next to Brussels Nord. One of the ladies behind the
window had a huge pair and already had them out as commuters
were walking to the station. Wish I had hung around to play with
them but alas I stupidly went to Luxembourg.

Bastards at Easyjet cancelled my flight and left me in
Amsterdam. 3 hours notice. Their other flights are taking off
but mine was cancelled due to extraordinary circumstances (gusts
of wind). No offer to put me on another flight.... Lesson
learnt..... I booked Eurostar home and have put a claim in with
compensation company. If I get £100 then I am good.

What do you expect from low class Easy Jet? You should have
flown high class Ryanair with that vile ckunt Michael O'Leary,
Iolar's lover.

The no win no fee company have submitted my claim.... Might get
my Eurostar ticket paid for. A small justice against a company
that think it is okay just to ditch passengers and not try to
transfer them to other flights.
