Hi to All, :)
I'm Alan, married with one teenage son and live in
Hertfordshire, not too far from London.
Being an ol' fart I'm not that up on the technical side of
computers but have picked up a fair bit about forums from a
users point of view over the last few years.
BTW I was a member on the old DS forum under the username
'roymo' ;)

glad you made an account here. We have many new an better
features on this forum that were not on the old one and I hope
that you will find all of our new content is helpful, we are
still developing a great forum and am glad that you are here to
