Warning : Cleaning the registry is only for experienced
users that are familiar with the inner working of the registry!
Back up the registry before you mess with it!!!
Okay many of us do not know what a registry is. A registry
is a place where it contains configuration settings and such and
is very important. Without it, your system will not operate at
all and is a single point of failure. Now here, over time your
computer is storing data in your registry.Doing things like
moving, deleting, or even editing files will just add more data
to your registry. More data means your computer will become
slower.
That is why computers that are once fast, over time will become
slow because of doing things like these.
To clean the registry search for "regedit" and right click on it
then click "Run as Administrator" you will see something like
this:

Image re-sized by forum software. Click to view full size.
Start by clicking "Edit" on the very top then click search. If
you downloaded and installed any programs then uninstalled it,
it may most likely leave over traces of it behind in the
registry.Again, more data means your computer will become
slower. So type in any program you installed then uninstalled and
delete whats selected. If your not sure about it you can always
do a screenshot and post it below and i will review it to see if
you should delete it or not
