Internet won't work, help!

Ok im on a windows vista machine and im a standard user and my
sister is an admin and every time i log in and use the internet
it works.(using Chrome) But when my sister logs in she uses
Internet Explorer and the internet suddenly doesn't work.One
time i was playing on the computer and she came in and wanted to
use the internet for 10 minutes so i was like ok i can wait, so
i logged out and she logs in and the internet doesn't work.The
only solution i came up with is to reset the modem but i don't
want to do that every time she logs in.Any ideas whats going on?

Did resetting the modem fix the issue? If it did I would say it
is some IP address or conflict issue, but then again if it works
on your account then I dont see why there should be an issue
like that. Is this a wired or wireless connection?

Can you try and see if a different browser works to see if it is
a windows component or an issue with internet explorer
specifically.

or theres option c.
make a new acc on the computer and make it the admin and make
sisters acc a normal user
