This is really useful for getting to websites without having to
open your browser, type the address or google it or open your
favourites and then wait for the page to load.
This tutoral will teach to to make a file on your desktop to
quickly open the website by simply double clicking the file.
Firstly create a new text document on your desktop (Right click
> new > text document)
name it the website name then at the end put '.bat' (If it asks
you to accept the file change just click 'yes')
and then right click on it and 'edit'
Inside the file type the following or copy and paste
@echo off
title Website title
START Website URL
In the code you can replace 'Website title' with the name of the
website. (dont remove or change the first 'title')
then you can replace 'Website URL' with the link you want to
load e.g.
HTML http://dscompforums.tk/
will take you to this website.
and thats it, save and run the file.
I'm not sure if it's only XP this works on but I'm positive It
doesn't work with 'Windows 7: Home Premium' tried on my laptop.
Hondaman.
Edit:
The attatched file is an example
just rename it to 'dscmpfrms.bat' and double click it.
