Future plans for this forum

Some might be wondering why this forum was started when we can
just as easily post on Idol.
I'm well aware that while DeAndre is on Idol we will and should
post on the Idol site. After all the more we post over there the
more others can see what a loyal fanbase DeAndre has.
I mainly started this because I was looking towards the future.
I've only had one experience joining a core fan base and that
was with Anwar Robinson fans from season 4.
What came out of that was many experiences we personally had
with Anwar and many friends I made that I've remained friends
with to this day.
Hopefully this can be a start of many years following DeAndre's
career together and friendships formed.
As we all know he will have a long successful career and we will
have many things to discuss while we follow him straight to the
top!
I'd also like to know if any one of you is computer savy enough
to start an actual DeAndre fan site..much more advanced than
this.
I think if we can get all our ducks in a row we can let DeAndre
know of his fan site we started and hopefully he'd want to
participate with us...tell us of his plans and upcoming
performances etc...
So, what do you all think? Does it sound like a plan? Any
suggestions on how we can pull this off?

This is a great idea!! We did this for Jason Castro and it
worked out great! It was nice because we all were there for one
reason and didn't have to explain ourselves.
I was also a fan of Anwar Robinson!
You should definitely tweet DeAndre about this. He's always
having twitter parties and he will answer tweets. You should
definitely let him know. He'll love it!
I've been tweeting with his Aunt. She'd definitely like the
idea as well!

Unfortunately I don't have a twitter account..just never wanted
to waste the time and put in the effort.
I'm seriously thinking about opening one though because of
DeAndre!
Seems like I'm missing out on all the fun. :'(
Go ahead and mention our plans to him or his Aunt. I'm sure he
would like to hear that we are making an attempt to get a nice
professional web site up for him.
In the meantime...maybe he would join here! That would be a
dream come true! ;D

I love this idea of our own DreDreamer community! I think you
should make a twitter because it's really fun!

This is a good start it might be small and humble, but that's
fine for now, everyone starts somewhere, and Yes we need a place
where we feel comfortable and just enjoy supporting our Idol
without having a battle with haters, be warned as this starts
getting bigger curious haters will come in , but unlike on idol
boards WE have the control here.

About Twitter because I have Twitter and access to these boards
I can use my twitter account to tweet about this forum and
spread word about Deandre Dredreamers forum.
Maybe we can come up with a saying or slogan to put on the
header as well as an image [ I'll work on that] to spiff it up
here , Whats the Name of the forum, THE DREDREAMERS Or
Deandre's Dredreamers,
I ask this because we want to draw dredreamers here,

A couple of years ago when I was a fanjaya [ yes, a sanjaya fan]
two fans created a safe haven we called Dazeoffire welcome to
sanjaya's universe [example] , we need something like that, it
was a home away from home for us , we made friends. some I'm
still close friends with even through the site shut down, even
sanjaya and mom came on sometimes.
if we spread the word on twitter I know some fanpages on there
that might help out.

I'm excited....the balls starting to roll.
That's a good idea Grace on getting some fans to join from
twitter.
I do love the idea of being somewhere that's not so out in the
open...like Idol.
This way we can be ourselves more and hopefully we won't have
any hate just luvin for our boy!

;D aha yes the ball is rolling slowly but rolling, I'll work on
twitter when I get a chance, In the mean time if any dredreamers
knows fanpages or anyone who works them. they can tell them &
help spread the word.
Yes we need a safe haven when it gets crazy on the Idol boards [
especially if he ranks higher above top 6 , they will be coming
, and they wont be happy ::) ] but again we have control , this
is the DreDreamers home ,and we can decide if a poster isn't
welcome here if they bash Deandre & especially fellow
dredreamers.

I will message his Aunt who has the facebook fan page for
DeAndre and also tweet it to his Aunt. Hopefully, we can get
them to maybe post or something. That would be cool. I'll
explain that it's the fans from the Idol forums.
We'll see, I guess.

thank you ilene . that would be greatly appreciated, if they
have any ideas or just join us , all of dredreamers should stick
together whether we're from Idol boards, facebook,twitter or
elsewhere this could be the place for all Fans Of Deandre. to
support him on his journey.
