the subject of indigo children has come up on a couple different
threads, as well as tarot readings, dream interpretations and
biblical scriptures etc.. so i'm starting a new thread for
things of that nature so as not to keep taking other threads off
topic, lol :) i don't know if cut & paste is an option but i
will try to re-post some comments from other threads into this
one to get it rolling, and if anyone has any links to website
articles about such things or just want to discuss it, yoshi and
i both wanted a thread for such topics so here it is :)

yes, there is something about deandre that is even "more" than
his singing, although he is brilliantly talented, it is more
than that too.. i agree with yoshi that he seems to fit the
profile of an "indigo child".. he was born into this generation
as an old soul who has a message of love to share, and will have
words of wisdom which the world needs to hear, even things such
as simple as "don't hate my haters, i love my haters".. so
profound! and what a wonderful world this would be if everyone
lived by that creed! it is a message our world needs to hear
and internalize, hell i need the reminder and i'm twice his age,
and i'm grateful to him for the refreshing breath of air he has
brought to my world and i too have a strong desire to see him
share it with all of the world because they're missing out
without it!
so yes, he is a brilliant singer and that's what first drew my
attention to him, but he is more than that too, he is a healer,
to those who are open to such things :) many are not, and that
makes me sad.. i recognized the truth when yoshi mentioned it
bc my son is an indigo child and i kept thinking there was
something about deandre that reminded me of my son even though
they don't look the same, and when yoshi said "indigo" i said,
aha! that's what is so familiar about him!
i'm not entirely indigo but i have some similar traits, i am
what some refer to as a "frontrunner", born a couple decades
before the recent flood of indigo kids and here to welcome them
and support their missions.. they are here to change our world
for the better! so in hindsight i feel it is no mistake that i
was drawn to deandre and became a dre-dreamer :)
ps, it is also unfortunately very common for indigo people to be
widely misunderstood and criticized, to be scorned by those who
think it's laughable to be sensitive, or unacceptable to be
different or unique, or just so unrelatable to the statistical
majority that they just plain "don't get" them and many refuse
to try to.. which is all the more reason they need our love and
support! some remain childlike and naive to a certain degree
and it can be genuinely shocking to them to discover that not
everyone is as open minded as they are, and i can definitely
relate to that, to this day i can never understand why anyone
would choose to hate when the option to love is so much sweeter!
so it's hard for me to understand alot of people, and hard for
them to understand me, but i've had alot of years to come to
terms with that.. deandre will continue to do amazing things as
long as he has support, and as long as he has his family and his
dre-dreamers, he will never lack that support, so the sky's the
limit, it's just a matter of time!

cool lesley! :) and i promise to be respectful of all religions
or practices even if they're not the same as mine :) i know us
dre-dreamers as a rule are openminded and accepting and
respectful, but i just wanted to say that to help set the tone
of this thread, i intend to celebrate things of a spiritual
nature, not to engage in religious debates :) since such
subjects kept coming up here and there, i hoped you mods and
admins might appreciate having them contained in one section so
those who are not into it won't be made to feel uncomfortable :)
i'm happy and relieved that you approve! :)

Last night during the chat I spoke about doing a reading for
Deandre's situation. I said that the out come was some kind of
sudden surprise. I did the reading thurs afternoon, and I am
now wondering if the surprise was that Jessica was at the bottom
this week. Even so, I am still thinking, as are some of you,
that something is up and that there will be some kind of "leak"
of information about his upcoming plans.

i've done a tarot reading, and rather than asking about
deandre's situation in general, i specifically asked about his
situation in regards to a record deal :D please bear in mind
that it's been a long time since i've done a reading so i'm
probably rusty, and also he obviously was not here in person for
the reading (i wish!), so there's a strong possibility that it
might reflect the reader's (my) hopes and feelings about the
situation as much or more as being an accurate prediction.. so
take it with a huge grain of salt (or many grains of salt)..
some of it feels so "right on" it gives me chills, but again,
it's questionable since it was done long distance, but i'll
share it for whatever it's worth.. and yoshi let me know how it
compares or differs to your reading :)
Tarot Reading, 04-13-2012 (ooh, i didn't realize it was friday
the 13th!)
What is DeAndre's situation in regards to a record deal?
Before i do the breakdown of cards, i want to note that there
were an overwhelmingly extraordinary ammount of "sword" cards!
(and yes, the deck was thoroughly shuffled).. I find this
interesting because swords are about matters of the mind as well
as VOICE, messages, art, the media! Alot of swords can mean
sometimes sword-fights but sometimes crossed swords of unity and
harmony!
1. The heart of the matter or primary focus = Queen of Swords..
The queen of swords is about spreading the news, she can mingle
with anyone, has a fondness for obscure trivia and loves to
share gifts and help people. She (or he as the case may be) is
likely to have a carreer in the media! She is farsighted, ahead
of the game, has a strategic game plan in mind for the future,
she tends to be "before her time" and can be a trend setter or
trail blazer.. people either feel threatened by her or
fascinated by her but rarely indifferent.. a cool demeanor
enhances her allure, she has a way with words and is gently
persuasive.. she is intelectually stimulating, inspires
curiosity, she has a thirst for knowledge and excels at
strategic problem solving.. (any of this sound familiar?) :)
2. Opposing factors or secondary issues = Knight of Swords..
this dude is all about constant change, a fast paced life,
movement, travel.. problems arise quickly but are resolved
quickly, life progresses at a breakneck speed, which can be
worrisome and stressful but also exhillerating and stimulating..
(yep, sounds like someone who's been flying all over to do
interviews and is now preparing for a nationwide tour!)
3. Roots, deeper meaning, childhood and/or past lives = The
Lovers.. ok my fellow cougars, it's not about that :) it can
be about cupid's arrow but can also indicate star-crossed fate
as well as fulfillment.. in other words, DeAndre was born in
the right place at the right time to the right parents to
fulfill the right purposes! :) very promising!
4. Recent past and resolved issues = Hierophant.. i'm guessing
the recently resolved past would refer to deandre's american
idol run.. when we encounter the heirophant, we might be
feeling a sense of insecurity or even panic, we have a fear of
failure, fear of losing all that we've recently gained if we
don't maintain the momentum, but the heirophant eases our mind,
reminds us to let go and allow for "free fall", to just "let it
happen" and go with the flow.. when we draw this card we are in
the frame of mind of self-assessment, compelled to ask ourselves
what have i gained and what do i have to lose? the heirophant
helps us gain perspective by having us consider what if my worst
fears came to past? what would i be left with? if what we're
left with is a firm foundation of family and supporters, then
it's all good, we can safely let go and embrace the future
without fear, grounded in the knowledge that if worse comes to
worst we still maintain that which is most dear to us.. (this
sounds to me like a really good place to be and also echoes
deandre's own parting words on the night of his swan song!)
5. Attitudes, beliefs, goals = Page of Swords.. a messenger,
but not necessarily a reliable messenger.. this is a friendly
warning to take the words of others with a grain of salt because
rumors and gossip are in the air.. this tells me that maybe dre
is feeling skeptical.. maybe he has agreed to an offer (or is
at least considering an offer) but is questioning the motives of
the one who made the offer (jimmy perhaps? will he be willing
to compromise and allow deandre freedom to be true to himself?
has he made false promises in those regards? or an offer from
eric benet and deandre is stressing out because it's a dream
come true and he fears it's too good to be true and there must
be a catch!) so this card tells me that we're no closer to
knowing WHO made an offer but we might have reason to believe
that "someone" did! :) (or, it could mean that the rumor that
he has a record deal in the bag is just that = a rumor)
6. The Near Future and unresolved issues = 10 of Swords.. this
means he's been stabbed in the back and is flooded with memories
of past conversations but is coming to a point of realizing that
analyzing it to death won't change the facts and so he is
resolved to it and at peace with it for the time being.. coming
to a realization that it solves nothing to obsess about past
words or decisions which can't be undone and thus he willingly
accepts the status quo with good grace and resolve.. (hmmnnn,
jimmy and nigel, i wonder who stabbed him in the back or whose
words he's in the process of moving past!) but good for him
that he is not letting it weigh him down other than the weight
of relief that it's over with and life goes on! or at least he's
getting there since this is "near future" as opposed to
present..
7. Self, personal style, image = The World.. you've come full
circle, if you step off the cliff you will soar! the whole
world is at your fingertips, it is yours for the taking! you
are at one with the universe! only deandre knows how much of
this is his own self confidence or whether it reflects the way
that others perceive him.. i think it is safe to say that this
is how his dre-dreamers perceive him! and he has expressed
pride in his accomplishments so hopefully he is feeling
confident in himself as well! he deserves to feel on top of the
world, i hope he does!
8. Environment, expectations = Judgement.. this is a step
behind the world card, so perhaps he has concerns about not
living up to his image? this card reflects that those who are
in a position to influence him are encouraging him to backtrack
and forgive himself for any mistakes he might have made along
the way, to lay it to rest and move forward with a clean slate..
9. Guidance, lessons learned or to be learned = King of
Pentacles.. this suggests to start his own business or at least
to only accept offers which are in keeping with being true to
himself.. this king is a farmer, (but can represent any
profession which commonly includes entertainers!).. he's worked
hard to be where he is, he knows what's best for himself.. he
sticks with what works, doesn't like to re-invent the wheel or
fix what isn't broken.. he's a man of few words but is charming
and funny, kind, loyal, helpful, and compelled to pay back
favors and not be in debt to anyone.. very important to provide
for his family and wants to be respected in his community..
therefore he might be feeling torn between his strong need to
adhere to his mission to bring back old school (not broke, don't
fix) and his eagerness to please the masses.. so my guess is
that he is planning or at least hoping for a record deal which
will include classic r&b as well as songs with crossover
appeal..
10. (and the moment we've all been waiting for!) Final Outcome
= Queen of Pentacles.. yay! this card is all about having the
patience, good sense, and determination to make things happen
and to make dreams a reality! a good head for business, down to
earth, equally comfortable with being a modest homebody or rich
and famous, but in any case does like to surround herself with
pretty things.. (like groupies? can i be one? just kidding,
sorry, got sidetracked!) usually self employed or in a job in
which she can have the freedom to be self-directed.. she gives
it her all and wants the best for her family, deeply rooted in
values and traditions.. very similar to the king of pentacles
(card #9) in that she also has a desire to fit in.. so this too
would reflect the possibility that deandre is going to find
middle ground in which to include both traditional styles in
which he excels as well as current styles which would give him
broader appeal.. it's also encouraging to note that he will have
a strong say in which direction it goes! bottom line, this card
spells success! (so if there's any grain of truth in any of
this reading, we have reason to dre-dream!) :)
