aw jeez :( i just discovered that ai is doing motown theme :(
they're combining it with movie songs for a double theme, but
still, i so hoped they wouldn't do a motown theme bc i can
hardly bear knowing we won't get to hear deandre sing motown! i
think i might go tweet him about it, he had been looking forward
to and hoping to do that theme and i was hoping it for him too,
i had delusional hopes that maybe they would leave that theme
out this season, not bc i don't love the theme bc i do, but bc i
didn't want dre to miss out on being able to contribute to it
like only he can! i have nothing against the top 7, but who
among them could do motown with the same passion as deandre? it
will be missing something huge without him there! i just knew
it would bum me out if they did this theme! :( sigh, at least
they waited a week and didn't do it last week, but still,
bummer! :(

It's Motown next week?
That feels like a kick right to my stomach. :(
Goodness that makes me sick. I was looking forward to that theme
nearly from the moment I heard Dre's voice. That was supposed to
be HIS week. He would have completely stolen the show. :(
I knew it was going to hurt when this theme was released, but I
was hoping the blow wouldn't be so hard. But it is, considering
nobody went home last week. It's like Dre missed what was bound
to be his outstanding shining moment just by the skin of his
teeth. It sucks.
I think for my own sanity, I better stay far away from watching
anything Idol this week because it will only annoy me to no end.
And I will be super annoyed if anyone sings "Cruising" by Smokey
Robinson. *sigh*
I went through the video/mp3 thread today and saw that clip of
him singing "Tracks of My Tears." I wish in honor of Motown
week, he would tape himself singing what he would have done for
Idol and post it on Youtube. And then let the DreDreamers make
the video go viral, lol.

omg les, i was so stuck on motown i had forgotten that he also
coulda done ms. celie's blues for the movie song! now i'm
double-bummed! :(

And....to top it off he's back there this week.....probably
finding out what songs everyone is going to be doing for that
theme......
I'm sure he's probably ok and we are taking it harder than he
is, but he just deserved to still be there!!!!!!!!!
