After all Chel's running, she had gotten herself trapped on her
last mission. She didn't have a bad mouth, but she could be
heard cursing up a storm as she was taken to the Palace; to be
dealt with. She was scared but at the same time trying to figure
away out of this mess. Sure, they had caught her being a thief,
but it wasn't her first time being caught, her tricks just
wasn't working and got her brought to the palace.

It had been a rather dreary day for Prince Eric. He'd spent much
of it exploring the castle but had found nothing that held his
interest for more than a few seconds. He sighed as he entered
another of the main corridors expecting to find nothing here as
well. He stopped short though when he saw the guards bringing in
a woman who, from the looks of it, was not too pleased. Well,
this could be interesting.. He thought, heading towards the
guards. He kept his face completely stoic as he came to a halt
in front of them. "What seems to be going on here?" He asked,
raising an eyebrow.

The guards looked at the Prince. "We found her in the town,
thieving." One of the guards said as Chel tired to yank away
from the other one. "We are surprised we caught her. She usally
can get away but we were ready for any of this witches tricks."
The one holding her said as Chel just looked at the Prince. 'He
could be my ticket out of here' She thought as she was still
trying to get out of the guards grips "I wasn't stealing
anything. I swear!" Chel finally said as she looked at Eric.

"Hmm.." Eric looked down at Chel thoughtfully before looking
back at the guards. "That's very interesting." He said, "What
exactly was she stealing?"

The taller gaurd answered the Prince. "Everything she can get
her hands on. This time it was gold." He said as Chel growled "I
wasn't stealing, if you guys would give me a break you would
know that. I earned that money fair and square." She said as she
still was looking at the Prince. "Then why do you run from us?"
The other gaurd asked. "Put yourself it my shoes, I see you know
what you think that earn means unlawfully because you see me as
a witch." Chel said as she sighed.

Eric looked at Chel for a moment before looking back up at the
guards. "Release her." He said, finally, "And don't let me here
about you arresting innocent people again." He glared coldly at
the guards before looking back at Chel. His expression softened,
"It looks like you've had a rough day. Let me make it up to you.
Dinner?"

The guards did as the were told and released Chel. Chel smiled
thinking 'Thank god he believed me' she bowed slightly to the
the Prince. "Thanks for helping me." She said softly as the
guards left the two. "Dinner would be great."

Eric smiled. "Great. Follow me." Eric said, leading her away
from the hallway and into a rather large dining room. It was
unoccupied at the moment save for a few servants. "Bring us
something to eat, will you?" He said to two of the servants and
they rushed off hastelly. He smiled at Chel, holding the chair
out for her to sit in.

Chel smiled and followed Eric down the hallway. "Wow this place
is huge." She said as she sat down in the chair Eric had pulled
out for her.

"Yeah, don't let it fool you though. It's pretty boring around
here." Eric said, taking a seat across from her. He didn't
believe that Chel was innocent of the crimes that the guard had
accused her of but frankly, he didn't really care. And besides,
he couldn't let his beautiful woman get thrown behind bars for
such a meager act. It's not like she killed someone. And if she
had, well, that would've just made her even more interesting to
him.
