School Hallway - MJ meets Katherine

Mary Jane sighed as she shifted the weight of her books into her
other arm. It was just another boring day at school. Like usual,
she had no one to talk to and she got those same disgusted looks
all day. She walked with her head up not wanting the other
students to know that they bothered her.

Katherine was leaning up against a locker whispering with her
friends and notices a lone girl walking through the hallway. She
smirks and thinks to herself " hm.. this should be fun." She
walks over to the girl and blocks her path still smirking.

Mary Jane stopped walking just in time. She'd nearly run into
the girl that had cut her off. She recognized the girl in front
of her. Who wouldn't? It was Katherine Pierce. EVERYONE knew who
she was. And now she was here, blocking her path. This couldn't
be good. "Can I help you..?" MJ asked hesitantly.

Katherine folded her arms and noticed the girl did recongize
her. i mean who wouldn't this is HER school. Katherine looked
around and back at Mj. "actually yea, i'm dieing to know who did
your hair, your clothes, and just everything about you" she
smirks again and feeling satisfied. she waits to ultimately
embarass this sad little girl.

Mary Jane averted her eyes from Katherine. "Um... I did my own
hair.." She said quietly, "I bought these clothes from...
Walmart." Her voice got quieter and quieter with every word. She
could feel the blush starting to build in her cheeks.

Katherine stared at her. could she really be serious, this was
way to easy. she return back to smirking. "oh god, no wonder,
look at you, looks like you've been hit by a truck. and no
wonder no one will walk with you, i wouldn't be caught dead if i
was walking with you, that's utterly suicidal" She laughes,
looking at the girl seeing if she accomplished what she started.

Mary Jane flinched at the harsh words feeling tears burning in
her eyes. I should be used to this.. She thought as she
struggled to keep the tears from falling. But no matter how many
times she had been insulted, it never seemed to get easier. She
couldn't speak, afraid that if she did than she really would
start crying. So instead she tried to take off. She moved around
Katherine and began walking as fast as she could away from her.
Katherine's insults were still running through her mind.

Katherine smirks seeing the girl about to cry, and felt utterly
superior. she watched MJ walk away and she yells out for her to
hear. " Aw will the ugly duckling ever find a place where she
belongs? *looks around* not likely" bursts out laughing with her
followers joining in with the laughing. "hm that was actually
really fun"

Mary Jane ducked her head down, knowing that everyone in the
hallway had heard Katherine insulting her. The laughter was all
around her and suddenly she couldn't hold her tears back any
longer. She burst into tears and took off running.

Katherine watches MJ running away and thinks to herself, "i'm
not done with you yet doll face." She snaps her fingers and
walks the opposite direction smirking and one hand on her hip.
