Ariel couldn't help but feel offended. "I do NOT attack people."
She said, "Unless they attack me first." She frowned at him,
watching him empty the water from his boots. "My name is Ariel."
She added finally. She couldn't help but feel... Fascinated by
this stranger.

"Well, the last mermaid I met literally gave me a low blow" - he
sighed looking at her with his oblivious look - "You seem a wee
bit nicer, no?"
He got up in a clumsy way and continued talking to her as he
walked around the dock
"Things ye see in the dream scape, eh? One day we´re sinking a
ship, the next we´re meeting mermaids. And ones that are
actually polite and nice. I love my life"

Ariel smiled. She decided she liked this man. He was funny.
"What's your name?" She asked lifting half her body up onto the
dock with her arms while letting her tail remain almost
completely in the water.

He looked at her in awe, almost offended.
"You don´t know my name? Lass...I´m Captain Jack Sparrow" - he
made some weird gestures with his hands as if he had announced
the discovery of the millenium and smiled at her innocently

Ariel giggled. "Right, right. Must not have recognized you.."
She said though she'd honestly never heard of him before. She
smiled at him, watching him with curiousity. She didn't want to
tell him she was a princess, especially not since he knew that
she was a mermaid. And she figured if he didn't recognize her as
the princess and then there was no need to say it.

He smiled obliviously and lay down on the dock smirking at her
"So Ariel, doesn´t having a pirate near you bother you? Normally
people would run away or try to hit me with a shovel. Please
don´t"

"Why should it bother me? As long as you don't attack me I won't
have a problem with you." Ariel said resting her chin on her
arms. She wondered how long she would remain in this mermaid
form and wondered if he would still be interested in talking to
her if she wasn't a mermaid. She hoped he would be.

"Why so serious, girl?" - his smile continued to grow as he
dared to caress her red hair - "I´m a good pirate. I treat
ladies well, you don´t need to feel bothered. I can be all nice
and polite. When I´m not drunk...which would make it rare"
Once again the adorable oblivious and clueless look returned

Ariel could feel the blush spreading across her cheeks. "I, uh."
She stumbled over her words, giggling nervously. She cleared her
throat, seeming to gain her composure and looked him straight in
the eye. "Are you drunk now..?" She asked.

"I don´t think so. But drunk people never know when they´re
drunk...hmm...can you confirm that? DO I smell like rum?" - he
came even closer to her. He was really weird. Now he didnt even
know if he was drunk or not
