Ariel stopped petting Phillipe. "Of course. You can tell me
anything. I promise not to freak out!" She said, trying to sound
as upbeat as possible. She could tell that Belle was upset and
she wondered just what kind of secret she was hiding.

"well, it's kind of hard to explain..." Belle was grateful that
she had someone to talk to, someone who would listen. "You see,
I have these... Visions... Of people's past..." She said, a bit
unsure of how to explain it. "Usually they're usually triggered
by something... Something that the person says, or an item... I
don't know, it seems very random at times... Let's just say I
know a lot of things about the people in my village that they
would rather keep hidden" she started twirling her hair...
nervous habit. "Most of the people in my village stayed away
from me because they wanted to keep their secrets to
themselves... And there was one man... Gaston... He never liked
me... From the time I first moved in he always acted strange
around me... But now... He... Wants me dead" She felt a few
tears fall from her eyes as she said this "So that's why I
left..." she bit her lip and looked up at Ariel, trying to watch
her reaction.

Ariel nodded, feeling very sympathetic towards the poor girl.
She knew what it was like to be an outcast, that's what it was
like for her in the real world. Except as far as she knew, no
one wanted her dead. This girl had it much worse. "I'm so
sorry." She said, coming forward and hugging her tightly, "Don't
be sad! I'll be your friend! I don't really have any
secrets...." She paused, well there was the fact that she could
turn into a mermaid. Might as well tell her now if she'll just
find out eventually. "I turn into a mermaid." She blurted out.
Not even her dreamscape family knew about that one.

Belle hugged her new friend back, so glad that she accepted her
for what she was. It took her a little while before what the
girl had just said had sunk in... "Wait... you... turn into a...
mermaid?" She asked, a little confused. A small giggle escaped
her mouth "that's so awesome!" She smiled, her worries seemed to
melt away. "What's it like?" Suddenly, as she asked that
question, she had a flashback. Nothing too exciting, but she saw
Ariel as a mermaid... When she came back to reality she suddenly
became aware that she had been staring into space for a little
while.
OOC: Sorry, my brain's kinda gone kaput and it took me a while
to get to writing this xD

Ariel grinned, pleased that her secret had also been accepted.
"It's amazing and-" She stopped when she noticed Belle looking
very spaced out. ".... Um, hello?" Ariel said, waving her hand
in front of her face, "Belle? CAN YOU HEAR ME?"

She suddenly became aware of Ariel shouting "Uhh... sorry" She
flashed a smile "Remember the whole vision thing? Well, yeah, I
just had one" She giggled "You're very pretty a a mermaid" She
said, winking at her friend

"Yeah, pretty often... Sometimes I can control it though, like I
can stop them from coming if I try hard enough... I can also
make them come if I want, if I think hard about something. As
you can see I haven't completely figured it out yet" Belle
smiled. "What about you? Can you just turn into a mermaid
whenever you want?" she asked curiously

"Well, I can turn into a mermaid as I please." She said, "It's
just the turning back part that's a problem. I can't control
exactly when I change back." She bit her lip, "I haven't figured
out how... I'm kind of new to this whole thing but it's usually
never too long.."
