       Marie is a normal girl in the Real World, attending an exclusive
       private school in upstate New York. She is cousins with Percy
       Jackson, who lives in the same town. (She has no idea that Percy
       also crosses into Dreamscape.) When she crosses into the
       Dreamscape, she has the power to see inside the minds of those
       she touches, and borrow the powers of other people with powers.
       This created a mental barrier for her and she distances herself
       from others, though she will lend her services as a Freelancer
       if the price is right, using the false name, "Rogue."
