FINAL TEAMS

Are we posting our final teams tonight or before tomorrows kick
off so we can see where we are at or are we just going to trust
our own judgement as we have had a fair bit of banter to get
them right just thought it would be good to see what we think as
a collective.

I'll post my final team later tonight. I'm not being coy, it's
just that I'm not 100% happy with my current set up. I'm
struggling to fit in 3x Chelsea players.

This is my current team.
I'm still planning on wildcarding next week.
I'm really happy with my front 7. I tried to bring in Walcott
but a combination of his ankle and knee injuries plus Arsenals
midweek European game filled me with doubts. I was also
struggling to find the 9.5 mill. I could just about squeeze in
Giroud but at the expense of my defence.
I have Cech and Toure who are good. Turner, Luna and Amorebieta
are dubious but I simply ran out of cash. Norwich are home to
Everton who I have some concerns over their attacking potential.
Luna is a real gamble. I'm expected Arsenal and Chelsea to score
so he could end up on negative points. Amorebieta is an unknown.
I'll probably go with the Amorebieta team. Whilst my weaker
defense is frustrating I can't see a way to improve it without
doing severe damage up top. Its not a big stretch to see Man C
and Everton condeding so it may not really make much of a
difference on what the defense is if they all bring in 1 and 2
points.

I will post mine shortly as I am still undecided on a striker. I
am surprised not to see Lukaku I think he will get more game
time than Soldado and has a knack of scoring of the bench I
expect 110mins minimum with 1 full match and a bench appearance.
I think Palace at home could be tougher than a lot of people
expect and Hollaway will have them up for it and with their
talisman missing who knows, be mind full of the Fulham defender
he is a real card magnet I did consider Cech but dismissed a
Chelsea defender as I am backing Benteke to nick a goal my
Chelsea defender pick would be Ivanovich as he offers an
attacking threat and could play both matches baring in mind the
physical threat offered from Benteke against Azpillicuita may
need some height? Still a good side just offering some food for
thought oh on a side note we have drawn the Reprobates first up
bring it on :)

This is my current line up its changed slightly from my recent
draft I will outline the reasons why please feel free to comment
After much consideration I didn't want to take the unnecessary
step of putting in Dzeko knowing that he may not start plus if
he starts I don't think he will play the whole 90ms so played
safe with Giroud who will play the whole shift as Arsenal have
no more forwards so I chose the safe route.I really wanted
Walcott as opposed to Silva but with injury doubts over his
fitness plus a Wednesday trip to Turkey it was again a risk I am
not prepared to take at least I have guaranteed Man City
coverage in Silva. I still plan on Wildcarding for game week 2
but if you notice I have changed the keepers to Boruc and Foster
who both rotate perfectly this was done to guarantee two playing
keepers and I thought 2 Liverpool defenders was overkill as I
already have Kolo Toure so wanted to spread the love around a
little also just in case I decide that I dont need to Wildcard
in game week 2 my side looks better balanced and I could cover
the lack of Chelsea/ Villa players when they don't play with 2
transfers which leads me onto the 1m left in the bank to upgrade
if need be probably Oscar to Walcott for game week 2 or Benteke
to Soldado. I feel this team in the shape its in gives me 4 good
DGW players a solid playing bench and money in reserve in case
I choose not to Wildcard. Any thoughts welcome. Good luck
everyone for tomorrow and the rest of the season.

Interesting observation. You may be right in regards to game
time. It was a toss up between Lukaku and Oscar. I think

This team looks really good. You could turn Zab into Lescott and
then bring Mingolet in? Stoke have not scored at Anfield in the
last 6 league matches.

Interesting stat re Stoke it is an option as Mignolet and Boruc
rotate well for the first 8 weeks I think before a crossover for
3 weeks then back again so I could revisit keepers then I
suppose only concern with Lescott is Nastasic is back in
training next week so could be back sooner than we think I could
leave the keepers and go Zab to Glen Johnson?
