I put this team together yesterday. It's not too different from
most of the others we are considering. The key selling points is
that I have key attacking players from Arsenal, Chelsea, Villa,
Spurs, Liverpool and Man C. The team has 3 Chelsea players who
are possibly at the lowest risk of rotation. The defence is from
4 teams which edges my bets.
The key weakness in the team is my 4 mill Cardiff defender who
makes my starting 11. After the splashing out on 10 players I
was left with a budget that only allowed base cost players.
Cardiff away to West Ham is not that bad a fixture. It virtually
comes down to Soldado and Cardiff defence Vs. Weimann and Man C
Defence. I estimate both pairings will return around 10 points
in week 1. The Weimann combination is 2 mill cheaper but I don't
have any pressing needs for the cash unless I need to upgrade
Oscar to Mata.

Another good side with key players from the top sides in all
positions I could live with a cheap defender in my starting 11
as it facilitates the big hitters, I seem to be changing my side
around on a daily basis and now with Mata possibly not up to
speed, Its a real headache trying to guess Jose's plans for
both matches don't think you can ignore Arsenal and Man City
attacking coverage though. Would Dzeko not be an option for
Soldado and free up cash to upgrade the cheap defender?

Any thoughts on Lampard would he be a better shout than say
Oscar for game time just got a feeling he might get plenty of
minutes to try and get back up to speed with his match fitness
thoughts?

I would put Oscar above lampard for gametime and points
potential. I had dzeko in my team for ages till I just got cold
feet about whether or not he would actually start above aguero
or negredo, just too hard to predict and not worth dropping
points over. I had a team I was REALLY happy with when I had
mata playing but with the worry hes not fully match fit and
wouldn't play both games I opted for coutinho instead. I am
still debating whether Walcott would be better but it seems very
close to me and in the end I decided I would go for Liverpool
doing well vs stoke.

If Dzeko plays he is a much better prospect than Silva and his
cheaper price would be useful. I'm not confident enough that he
will start.
I think that Oscar just edges out Lampard. It's really close
especially with Lampard being in penalties. I think Lampard is
still a top player and I can see him starting against Man U
which implies he will get less game time in the first 2 games.
This is just my opinion and not based on any fact.

Ive been trying to justify having lukaku and dzeko in my team
for a while and everything ive been reading seems to indicate
they will now. Lukaku im not really worried about as he will get
90 mins at least and that's decent enough given the fixtures,
dzeko seems like striker of choice and for 7.5 feels worth the
risk to me. I can readily see a huge points hall with this team.

If I was going with this team I would probably install a safety
net incase Dzeko fails to play. Perhaps turn Johnson to Toure or
Zab to Lescott and upgrade a sub. The effect on your starting 11
should be minimal but it at least gives you an out.

I think I am almost done :) unless there is any significant
changes with injury due to the international matches then this
is the team I think I will go with, it only contains 1 Villa
player as I just can't see the value of anyone else even though
they will certainly play twice, please feel free to rate or
slate as you see fit as I will appreciate your feedback, I am
away on holiday from Friday so need to sort my team out before
then in case I don't get to check team news on Saturday.
