       Countdown
By: Josephus Date: August 4, 2013, 10:57 am
       ---------------------------------------------------------
With less than 2 weeks bedore the season opener my team is
beginning to take shape. I'm still keen to wildcard week 1. My
basic team involves Benteke and 3 Chelsea players (Cech, Hazard
and Luakau). I would prefer 3 attacking players from Chelsea but
I'm currently not convinced I can pick a third starter. My
prefered team set up is either 3-4-3 or 3-5-2.

That's very similar to my current team I have Dzeko instead of
Aspas but I can see the logic in Aspas definite starter, I have
Silva also but not convinced on if he will start with that
Spanish International match so close to kick off? At the moment
I have Guzan in goal for DGW again still not convinced and Cech
my well be the safe way to go for Chelsea defensive coverage.
Off topic slightly could anyone post an idiot(me) guide as to
how you upload the team sheet from FPL really don't know how to
do it and I would like to post my team for discussion also. :-[

Silva is an educated gamble. The Man C game is on the Monday so
5 days after the international game. I'm hoping this is enough
time for him to get back to the UK and to be considered fit to
       play.
Dzeko and Aspas is a close call. Aspas is slightly cheaper and a
safer bet which swayed it for me.
I've just read an article that Rooney is likely to request a
transfer this week. If this happens then I'll have to squeeze
him in too. Probably upgrade Lukaku and bring in a second
Chelsea midfield player. Zabaleta is unlikely to remain. These
changes put me around 0.5 mill short so I'm still at least
       another tweak away >:(
For the team image I take a screen shot and save it on my
computer. Then I just attach it via the tab just beneath box
where you type your messages. I often use my IPad so I take a
screen shot on this and then email the photo to myself. I then
open up my emails on my pc, save the photo and then add it to my
post. Sounds more complicated than it sounds.

Valid point on Silva had forgotten the Monday night game so yes
baring injury I think he starts and like I stated earlier your
team is very close to mine I am happy atm but may also need a
final tweak or two if anything else happens in the transfer
market. I fancy City to score well against Newcastle and would
like a City forward but with four to choose from its an
educated gamble picking Dzeko based on pre season form I would
hate to miss out but Aspas is the safe pick with no pre season
for Sturridge I guess and what about Villa players do you think
there is no value other than Benteke? Thanks for the tutorial I
will hopefully be able to post some images soon :)

Yay a little dark but it works, ditched Guzan for Cech good move
imo but cant have Dzeko now so Aspas looks good I had Cabral as
my low budget mid until I read about the amount of cards he
picks up. I have gone Ryan Bennett as a 4m defender as I believe
Bassong will miss the season opener and Norwich fans believe he
will start with Turner unless they buy another centre back
Brayford is a new signing likes to get forward and I believe he
should start ahead of McNaughton. We need some Movement on the
Rooney transfer saga to change what looks a good starting set
up. Don't know whether to go for Coleman away at Norwich or
change to my original pick of Collins West Ham home against
       Cardiff for first match, thoughts?

There is possibly an easier way to take a screen shot. If you
are using an IPad you can press the two power buttons
simultaneously and it will save a picture of your current screen
       into your photos.
If you're using a PC then press the 'Alt' and 'Print Screen'
keys simultaneously. This will copy an image of your current
screen to your clipboard. If you open up a programme like
'Paint' you can then paste the current image and then save it as
an image file which you can then attach to this forum. Once in
Paint you need to first click the dotted oblong tab in the top
left corner called 'select'. This will allow you to paste the
previously saved image into Paint. With this image you can cut
out the section you want. Then open a new paint page via the
'File' tab in the top left and paste your chosen image again.
Then return to the file tab and you can save the image on your
PC via the ' Save As...' link.
It's a little confusing but once you do it a couple of times
it's a pretty quick and easy process.

I had the same dilemma and went with Coleman. Cardiff are an
unknown package full of confidence after winning the league last
year - anything could happen in this game.

this is crazy close to my setup.
I don't like Liverpool in attack vs stoke. Stoke seem fairly
tidy defensively so I went with dzenko vs Newcastle and mirallas
vs Norwich who just seem more likely to score points, especially
dzenko, though I can understand why aspas is a fair choice.
