       some thoughts

       I apologise for the amount I post, it helps me think I suppose
       :)
       Im pretty convinced that cech/cole/hazard are musts for gw1 if
       you wc.
       After a lot of thought ive stepped down from my 3 AVL policy to
       go with just tonev and abgonlahor. Tonev seems absurd value for
       5m, even if he just turns up and does nothing for 180 mins
       that's still 4 points, for 5 million its hard to beat and allows
       you to free up money for some heavy hitters. I don't like
       benteke, hes very expensive for someone who has to score to be
       realistically worth 9 million and vs ARS and CHE I just don't
       think this is as likely as another striker vs a weaker team, who
       you could get for a million less. Because of the fixtures he
       also lacks the realistic potential to get a major haul but for 7
       million if agbonlahor gets an assist hes done his job, even if
       he just turns up for 120 mins hes really not that appaling and
       if a goal is scored its likely he will have got the assist
       anyways.
       Ive gone for Rat and Jose Enrique in defence. Rat because
       everything ive read/been told seems to say hes very much worth
       5m and he has a good fixture with Cardiff. The alternative I had
       was coleman but it seems Norwich is bringing in strikers so are
       clearly looking to be more attacking minded which just shifted
       my decision away from an everton defender. I wanted a Liverpool
       defender vs stoke and Enrique has the greatest chance to score
       so I just went with that though I could readily be convinced
       Johnson might be better if it looks Enrique might not start for
       whatever reason.
       tonev in mid allows for Bale, who has a great fixture and if you
       can afford him I don't see why you wouldn't pick him. Courtinho
       was Walcott but I decided that although he was slightly less
       likely to score vs stoke than Walcott vs AVL he was also way
       more likely to get a clean sheet bonus and I wanted to avoid
       having 2 midfielders playing each other if I could, its close
       but he also seems in insane form.
       I did want an arsenal attacker as I think AVL will be stretched
       and have an appalling defensive record. Giroud seems to be the
       man to go to from arsenal. The last slot was tricky but I went
       with adebayor, I like tottenhams fixture and I see no reason he
       couldn't play a part in an assist or goal and also has the
       ability to get a nice haul if CRY fall apart a little bit. I
       cant seem to find anything as to why he wouldn't start but defoe
       has me a little worried this is a poor choice on my part.
       The subs aren't THAT bad if someone doesn't play.
