Any suggestions as to where we can go to purchase our own
practice swords and fencing equipment?

Do you mean swords for sparring? You can only find affordable
ones on line. Kult Of Athena is where I bought mine. They are
very good about replacing broken blades. You'll find cheap masks
on Ebay. Men who want to spar will have to have their own
athletic supporter (cup). This will be a necessary piece of
equipment or no sparring. They are cheap at Walmart or Kmart.
