The six month limit is pretty redundant
But it was never about falling in love, it was about marrying
someone to become one with the world, and I was working on the
antagonist and if we remove that bit it kinda leaves his
backstory making little sense

Yeah I get that, but what I am trying to say is this story seems
more like an action adventure romance, drama genre
Meaning it seems to be a more serious story, if it was a
romantic comedy I think the marriage thing would be fine, but
something like that doesn't really fit into a serious story.
I say this because the subject of either Marry someone or you
die was actually the main plot of a romantic comedy called My
Bride is a Mermaid.

I've never heard of that
Maybe if they all think that it's the only way he can live, but
he wants to find another way and ends up saving the planet and
finding that to be another way to become a part of it
So he would want to survive, but he doesn't want to force anyone
into a marriage (he's blind to people's emotions and doesn't
realise that some of the girls actually wouldn't mind marrying
him)
So the antagonists story would fit without the main focus being
around getting married but actually about the heroes reluctance
and desire to find a new way?

Gracedragon we can't just have girls who instantly want to marry
him before they even get to know him.
Then there wouldn't be any character development or relationship
building.
Also making the whole plot about him not wanting to get married
will make a very rough plot we need something more solid.
For instance we could make the plot centered around why he was
brought to the planet in the first place.

He was brought through by accident
Most of the girls are brought up believing that anyone from the
other world is a hero so there are a lot of unimportant side
characters who desperately want to marry him because they
believe that he will end up ruling the world
None of the main girls are in this category because they were
never really told the stories (there might be one if someone
chooses to make a character like that)
And it wouldn't be all about him not wanting to get married.
It would be about him trying to find an alternate way to become
one with the planet

He'd have to find a way back
Which he would do at the start but realise that it's harder than
he thought he would be and that he may need longer to find a way
back, so he'd need to find a way to stop the planets creatures
from trying to attack him, hence trying find the alternative to
marriage

Okay now it's making more sense. However I still don't like the
whole Idea of marriage or death, Unless their marriage ceremony
is something like the ceremony from Avatar where they connect
with trees (the one with blue people)
Also how would getting married make him one with the planet?

Well
Since it's supposed to be PG-13 I couldn't exactly say it was
sex
So marriage was the next best thing
In my mind it's a connection between two people
The only difference the two is that one is physical and one is
mental
If there wasn't a chance of children stumbling upon, marriage
would actually be unprotected sex

Alright well lets get back to the subject at hand
So he's going to start out going to work and then he goes to the
park and gets teleported to the other world.
He is then going to meet three girls and they are going to take
him to the person in charge.
So we have this much I'm thinking that we give the leader some
psychic abilities, because then how else are he and or she going
to know where, and when he is going to appear.
I'm also thinking that we have the creatures attack our main
character either when they are on their way to meet the leader,
or right after they have met the leader.
