- Proper Divisor: A positive divisor of a number n not equal to
n.
Properties of Numbers
- Amicable: Any two numbers whose divisors sum to one another.
- Coprime: Any two numbers such that the only number that
divides both of them is 1.
- Fermat's: Numbers of form '2^(2^n)+1'
- Perfect: A number which is equal to the sum of its proper
divisors
- Prime: A number which is only divisible by itself and 1.
- Triangular: Any of the series of numbers (1, 3, 6, 10, 15,
etc.) obtained by continued summation of the natural numbers 1,
2, 3, 4, 5, etc.
Properties of Prime Numbers
- Mersenne: A prime number which is one less than a power of
two.
