Not pure specialty. It's just that's where they excel... like
Androids can have Tier 5 Tech upgrades. I'm not saying they
can't have Physical ones, but they'll be limited.

Yeah, regarding the alternate storyline, should Raditz never
reach the Earth, Piccolo would've been still stronger than Goku,
who would've never died nor visited Kaio-sama, making him a LOT
weaker. No OVER NINE THOUSAND!!!!!! this time. :( Although...
Goku would've kept on heavy training and he would've still been
the World Martial Arts champ the next time as well inspiring
people in a way Mr. Satan kinda did, and thus strengthening the
human race.
Regarding Gohan, he would've been a lot weaker as well, since
Piccolo wasn't there to make him experience the wild life, and
would still be a wuss, making him reluctant to fighting. In a
fight with, Piccolo, though, his dad was close to death and
Gohan saved him with his hidden power. Piccolo also injures
Gohan (Saiyan near death power level raise affects both) and
Goku eventually defeats Piccolo. Goku made Gohan realize about
his true power and then trained him. And, he recovers the
missing training while training hard to set an example for
Gohan.
Meanwhile, Vegeta's level doesn't change much. No near-death
experience makes him weaker, but also, less time recovering is
time he spends training. And since he still hates Frieza, the
training become intense, making him stronger than canon in the
long run. And we reach the end of the Saiyan saga.
I have wild imagination for non canon storylines. This was just
a quick draft. I can come up with more ideas for storylines. :P

Hmm, I'm debating how I feel about canon characters in the
storyline.
But, about Vegeta, the only reason he got so powerful was he was
constantly feeling inferior to Goku, and kept trying to one-up
him. That would mean no Super Saiyan 1, 2, or 3.

Vegeta doesn't know about Goku yet. And he still thinks he's
inferior. Frieza, on the other hand, is still superior, and
Vegeta is very competitive. Remember that Vegeta's ultimate goal
was immortality, which Frieza also pursuited. That's what fueled
Vegeta's rage and hate: rivalry. Also, since I believe in the
butterfly effect (in time travelling, the smallest of changes
builds up to a huge change in the "alternate" future), and not
destroying Planet Vegeta is something big, that led them to
never knowing about the Namek's Dragon Balls.
We can later bring Dende to Earth by Kami-sama's command, and
Piccolo will fuse with him (as canon) and team up for the first
time with Goku during the Android saga. This also creates a
weaker Cell, since the Z Warriors aren't as strong and there's
no Frieza, King Cold or Vegeta. Also, no Vegeta means no Trunks,
making the Androids' arrival completely surprising. Aaaaaand...
no heart disease. Goku led a different life, and lets say his
sickness wasn't genetic, meaning it was eventually avoided.
SSJ levels would come during the Android Saga, deducing the
merciless Androids would kill some of the Z Fighters, and then,
since it's something completely new, it catches Gero's droids
off guard and becomes the table-turner. This news of the SSJ
reach Frieza, drawing him and the Saiyans finally to Earth...
Dude, I should stop now. I won't be able to sleep. o.o lol

Good idea, since last thing FT told me was that it was going to
be a 200 years in the future deal.
Plus, I've got the idea that Buu killed alot more of the Kai,
becoming even more powerful and eventually grew bored of
constant destruction and just created his own world of his body,
creating the Majin species, and explaining why Kai's are
recruiting average species into their ranks.

The Saiyan saga still exists, but because saiyans aren't extinct
Well I say we build a new story, beginning from frieza NOT
attacking planet Vegeta. We need a human power booster and a
Saiyan Power nerfer
