Oh... hmm... that seems like you could get away with
close-range, and maybe something else... what if techniques can
just incorporate other schools of talents? Maybe a general
talent that has a +1 or something.

You can add Fire III into a punch for an additional +1 modifier,
which allows you to use a magical skill in a Physical technique.
And I have no idea. :p
