Yeah, but Ki is a general thing. Take out the magical barrier
breaking. Think about it by punching, but it affects their ki
centers in their body. It can be both.
Yes, like, if they go busting through brick walls the whole RP,
I'm not about to let them go on a Magical shopping spree.

burst of energy contained. Whereas a beam is a super charge
released

... no... think Naruto, with chakra infused punches to disrupt
the opponent's chakra flow. Considering they're both just
different words for chi, it seems like a fair comparison.

Hmm, how about the level of effect depends on how powerful the
attack is. To fully disable ki, you'd need full power, and so
on. A weaker amount just limits their ki.
