       How it Works (in Theory)

       This is generally how we envision this online, post-and-play DnD
       functioning.
       At its absolute core, this is describing your character actions
       through text. As everyone will be using this forum to provide
       information (including the DM) you will form your current
       actions based on what has transpired in the continuing dialogue
       in the forum.
       When you want to do something, and you see it as timely, just
       post it.
       The advantage to this, is that the story can continue 24/7,
       although at a slower pace than at the game table. So if you have
       time, or are curious about what happened recently, checking the
       forum and saying what your character does next allows the game
       to keep moving forward. Essentially, this removes the need for
       all of use to be gathered at the same time, in the same place,
       for several hours. However, this does not actually forbid us
       continuing to meet in person when possible!
       Of course, the DnD itself will function in the same way.
