       Hordelands General

       The Hordelands are a barren tundra with few natural resources.
       They are home to many nomadic tribes of orcs, goblinoids,
       gnolls, goliaths and humans, all more concerned with eking out a
       meagre existence than fighting one another. The land is dotted
       here and there with the ruins of failed kingdoms, but for the
       most part it is desolate, snowswept shrubland.
       There is a single permanent settlement, Nathoud, in the west of
       the Hordelands, which acts as a trading outpost between the
       people of Narfell and  various tribes with crafted goods, such
       as beads and bone ornaments.
