Durpar is a rather diverse nation of sailors, merchants, and
pirates. Its people enjoy rather comfortable lives, isolated
from the worries of the rest of the word by the Raurin Desert
       and the Beastlands.
The Durpese merchant fleet primarily trade in the Shou Empire,
peddling olives, citrus and wine, as well as gems from the
       Beastlands.
Durpar's most unusual feature, however, is the sunken Lilty
Metropolis just off of its coast. Much of it is now encrusted in
reef, providing a substantial population of fish, but the
signature spires and domes of the Lilty are still unmistakable.
Adventurous entrepreneurs sometimes dive into the ruins, seeking
valuables artifacts to sell. Some have reported seeing Merfolk
in the deep, as well as things even more fearsome. No one knows
exactly how this city came to be at the bottom of the ocean, but
the people of Durpar enjoy the bounty that it provides.
