       Darkhold was built long ago to house giant humanoids. Many
       believe it was built in the age of the great giant empire.
       Now the massive castle is held by two different factions in a
       tenuous alliance: The Eight Hundred, and the Cult of Cyric.
       The Eight Hundred are a mercenary band led by the mysterious and
       powerful warrior known as The Pereghost. Little of him is known,
       other than that he and his soldiers hold close ties to the Guild
       of the Golden Dragon.
       The Cult of Cyric are worshippers of Cyric, greater deity of
       Madness, Strife and Trickery, also known as the Mad God. At some
       point in the past hundred years, these cultists were allowed by
       the Eight Hundred to occupy a large portion of the fortress, for
       reasons unknown.
