Although the newly "saved" Drow are very united against the
Darkness and other powers which would send them back, the entire
       nation is still divided.
The half-drow continue to be seen as un-trustworthy by local
halflings and humans. Many consider moving to another land
       (although they have little choice)
because they feel they have no place in a Drow run society,
although one human has already been promoted to an Arbiter.
This has, of course, also seen some attempts at armed rebellion
       - in most cases the rebellion leaders quickly disappeared.
War and internal strife are taking its toll on the nation
causing the Drow of Dambrath to quickly search of allies and
       trade partners.
The previous landed nobility was mostly ruled by the royal
family of Luenath, but has however relinquished most of their
power in favor of the united council. In exchange the family of
Luenath and their nobility have been given more land to the west
of Dambrath and an honorary seat on the council. Naturally
tension runs deep and hard compromises are made on both sides to
appease the variety of citizens of Dambrath. Growing conflict
between Luenath and Cassius has some members of the council
       on-edge.
Despite this, there is growing sentiment for further unification
between the half-drow, humans, and halflings lead by the
Pathfinder Serventus and the Baron's daughter Elincia

It's well known that Dambrath's method of securing power is
through its connections and information brokering in exchange
for goods and sometimes protection. In addition to international
informants the internal intelligence agency often assigns agents
to oversee important political figures. What plans the real
forces controlling the government from behind-the-scenes have in
store, of which only a select few are fully aware.
